Why Kettering
Kettering is the next town up the road. Nine miles from our office along the A509, or one stop on the train, it is close enough that a meeting there costs us half a morning rather than a day. It is a boot and shoe town by history and a market town by habit, with a high street that has held on better than most, a large hospital, and industrial estates full of the kind of businesses that keep the county working.
Between Wellingborough, Kettering and Northampton sits most of the work we do. Kettering is the one we visit for the businesses, not the passing trade: engineering firms, trades, independent shops, schools and the professional practices that sit above them.
How we work with businesses here
The first conversation is best done in person, and we will come to you. A quick visit lets us see how a business actually runs, which is worth more than any brief. After that, the work moves online: the design shared as a link, changes sent by email and turned around the same day, and the month-to-month looking-after handled from Wellingborough without anyone needing to drive.
If you would rather keep the whole thing online, that suits us just as well. Nothing about how we build a site depends on being in the room.

Wicksteed Park is the obvious afternoon out, and the parkland is free to walk even when the rides are closed. Boughton House and Rockingham Castle are two of the finest houses in the county, both a short drive north. In the town itself, the Alfred East Art Gallery and the museum beside it are a quiet hour well spent, and Barton Seagrave is the pleasant village end of town.
